If it is UVHM though, it would explain your scaling issue, as all enemies scale with you, rather than scaling up post-Warrior fight. The wreckage is believed to have stockpiles of loot. Summary: In Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt players enter an uncharted territory deep in the swamps of Pandora where a very large Hyperion ship has crashed. 2.3.2 The Horrible Hunger of the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler You should be level 50 (at least) before starting that. All in all a decent DLC worth a go, but I feel is better suited to more hardcore players. NOTE! I played this in TVH mode starting at level 38, so the "normal" mode may differ a bit but probably not much. Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt is the third major campaign downloadable content for Borderlands 2, and was first released on January 15, 2013. Loot drops are pretty consistent with other entries. The only ways to have it re-evaluate which level to be is to: Start a new character. Since this, like most of the DLC content, takes place after the defeat of Handsome Jack, the chaos and anarchy on Pandora has largely been reignited with monsters, Bandits, and, of course, ghostly Pirates running wild. Aergus itself is a tad barren with not a ton of different areas//buildings to check out, but again not that big a deal for me. One you enter the DLC, it stays at that level. The first DLC pack for BL2, released in October of 2012, is also one of the most awesome. Another irksome thing was having completed a side quest having to go through waves of re-spawned enemies in an already cleared area just to complete it! It didn't bother me alot but others may find it unacceptable. Also used "slag" weaponry/grenades ALOT more. On the positive side to that I found I used the rocket launcher and shotgun a TON more than any other previous entry which was kinda "new" for me. I can see some people rage quitting after being killed by a witch doctor for the umpteenth time. I'd say be at level 35 at least before heading in. As others have stated previously, this DLC is difficult. That being said, some things you should know. It's fairly short, the characters and humor aren't as good as past entries. Basically if you dig the past DLC's this one is worth playing. You are sort of correct in that 2 of the DLC's are not capped at 30 in Normal mode, but 35. It's fairly short, the characters and Almost completed it. Basically if you dig the past DLC's this one is worth playing.
